Some spells may need charging before they can be cast. This loading bar will also appear when a player is using his gun or bow.

Mouse Cursor

The mouse cursor which is used to in WoW is an iron glove. When hovering above or clicking on characters (or items) it changes; the picture shows either a normal, an attack, or a speak cursor. All races have the same cursor at the moment; its unknown if all races will still have the same mouse cursor in the final release, but that's very unlikely.

Quick Slots

There are twelve quick slots for spells or abilities. The spells and abilities can be dragged in here from the spellbook and can be used with the keys "one ( 1 )" to "plus ( + )". Multiple quick slot rows can be used.

XP Bar

The experience points you gain will be added to this bar. The number of XP you have, and how much you need for the next level are shown in the middle. e.g. you have 840 xp and you need 1000 for the next level...It will show 840/1000. The number of XP hasn't been on all screenshots, so its possible this could be activated and deactivated.

Popup Menu's

These 7 buttons will open the following menus:

  • Characters Paperdoll
  • Spell Book
  • (Unknown) - maybe something to do with talent points or secondary skills?
  • Quest Log
  • Chat Menu (not sure)

  • (Unknown) - maybe to report bugs?

You can read more detail about the menu's in the section Popup Menu's .

Lag Bar

This bar is the lag bar, it will show you (in full color!) how good your connection is. Green will of course mean a good connection, and red means not.

There are five slots for back packs and sacks. When the back pack is clicked on, an inventory popup menu will appear.
Read further detail about this below.

Some quests you accept need to be accomplished within a specific time frame. This is the timer that shows you how much time you have remaining to complete the quest.
